Mae L. Newell Memorial Award

The Mae L. Newell Memorial Award is given in loving memory of my mother. Through her nurturing and encouragement, she helped me to discover that I, as a woman, can be anything I want to be and dream anything I want to dream.

This award is a $500.00 stipend given to a junior class member of the Indiana University Women in Business organization in the hope that it will assist other women in pursuit of their dreams. The application will be available on the following webpage effective November 3rd, 2008:

The selection committee will be Dr. Joyce Byrer (Advisor to WIB), Missty Warren (Manager of KSOB Undergraduate Scholarships), and Diana Humphrey (KSOB Senior Director of Development, Major Gifts).

Candidate Criteria

Must be an active member of the Women in Business organization. Any major is welcome to apply.

Must have junior class standing

Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA
