Summer Workshop 2011: | Using Drama Pedagogy for Language Learning |
An interactive workshop that familiarizes junior high and high school teachers of French, German, and Spanish with basic drama pedagogy techniques for the classroom

Professor Susanne Even will lead the group in techniques that are easy to implement, get students moving around, and cater to all four skills. The workshop will be based on excerpts from a novel for young readers that can be easily adapted to other texts and genres. Participants will work with fellow language teachers to develop creative and engaging lesson plans. No previous knowledge of drama pedagogy required. Comfortable clothing should be worn.
