Advising

Academic, personal, and professional advising is an important factor in college success. IU Bloomington offers advising services for the full spectrum of student needs, from prospective students and incoming freshmen, to student-athletes, pre-professional students, and students from under-represented populations.

Athletic Advising
All student-athletes have access to a full-time advising staff, multiple compliance officers, interns, graduate assistants, and specialized tutors, as well as special facilities for group and individual study.

Explore Majors
A gateway enabling prospective and current students and parents to explore IU’s majors, minors, and their related careers. This resource includes links leading to academic and career information, workshops, and events for making the best decision about majors and minors at IU.

Health Professions and Prelaw Center (HPPLC)
Provides preprofessional advising and services for students interested in pursuing careers in law, medicine, and other health fields. HPPLC directs advising toward preparation for careers in the professions and regularly meets with students at the high school level, current Indiana University students, and alumni.

University Division (UD)
