2009 Plans
For 2009 the Vice Provost for Faculty & Academic Affairs is pleased to announce the availability of a new electronic Faculty Annual Report application for all Bloomington faculty.
This application is also available for use University wide, by all IU campuses, schools, and departments. Please contact your department administrative office to inquire about its use in your department or on your campus.
The application consists of 3 main components: the Faculty Worksheet, the Reviewer Portal, and the IUIE reporting environment. Using these tools, faculty can update their information anytime throughout the year and submit their annual report when necessary. These final reports can then be reviewed during the annual review process, and administrative users can run detailed reports based on annual report information.
Accessing the Application
There are two avenues for accessing the annual report application through OneStart.
Faculty
At IU, the application is available to anyone with a Faculty role. You can access the application in the following way:
1. Log into OneStart using your user name and password
2. Click on the tan Services tab
3. Click on the Faculty Systems section located along the left of the window. Note: based on other roles you may have at IU, you may see more or fewer options than those presented in the example below
4. Click on the Faculty Annual Report subsection now located along the left of the window
5. This will give you access to the Faculty Annual Report Content channel where system notifications, options for viewing documentation, and access to the Annual Report Worksheet are presented
Administrators and Faculty Administrators
Administrators that are not faculty or faculty that also serve in an administrative role will need to request access to the administrative functions of the application. Once that has been granted, you can access the application by:
1. Log into OneStart using your user name and password
2. Click on the tan Services tab
3. Click on the Administrative Systems section located along the left of the window. Note: based on other roles you may have at IU, you may see more or fewer options than those presented in the example below
4. Click on the Academic subsection now located along the left of the window
5. This will give you access to the Faculty Annual Report Content channel where system notifications, options for viewing documentation, and access to the Annual Report Worksheet are presented
