What I’ve Done:
In high school, I was a cheerleader for two years and was also very active in the music department, playing the flute in marching band, symphonic band, symphonic orchestra, pit orchestra, and ISSMA competitions.  I was also involved with the drama department and competed in ISSMA vocal ensembles in addition to participating in Model UN, Academic Superbowl, Science Olympiad, and the Speech Team.  I was an honors scholar and volunteered through my church to converse with Chinese exchange students and improve their English.  In college, I have been involved with INPIRG, helping the hungry through annual Hunger Cleanups and fall food drives with the Hunger and Homelessness Campaign.  I have been a member of Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity since Spring ’07, where I have served as VP of Communications for my pledge class and ritual chair, secretary, and historian as an active (Fall ’07).

What I am doing:  I am currently the secretary, alumni secretary, associate liaison, and historian for APO.  I am also on the Undergraduate Student Library Advisory Council and volunteer with many organizations, including Wonderlab science museum and a local archaeology lab.  This summer, I will be studying classics and anthropology abroad in Greece!
