Aaron Collins (Farley) is a junior majoring in Theatre and Drama. Last year he appeared in the Norvelle Center production of An American Ma(u)l (Ensemble). He is looking forward to being on the Wells-Metz stage in Marisol (Man with Ice Cream) later this season. Other credits include the reading of Bulletproof Hearts (Jake) for the IU Black Lab Theatre and Booty Candy (Ensemble) for Black Curtain. Aaron is from Danville, Indiana. |

Jeff Craft (Mr. Percy) is a senior majoring in Theatre and Drama. He also holds a B.A. in Philosophy and Computer Science from Indiana University. He played Sir Charles Marlowe in She Stoops To Conquer at the Ruth N. Halls Theatre and Ed Harnagelin Work for the Bloomington Playwrights Project. He was also in Three Sisters (Ferapont), You Can’t Take It With You (Policeman), Inherit the Wind (Radio Man), and An Actor’s Nightmare (Henry Irving). Jeff is from Lawrenceburg, Indiana. |

P. Alex Dodge (Mr. Delacroix) is an Ellis Fellow Ph.D. candidate in English with a minor in Theatre and Drama. He earned his M.A. in English from IU and his B.A. in English and Theatre from Kalamazoo College. Norvelle Center roles: The Seagull (Medvedenko) and Measure for Measure (Friar Thomas); IU Independent productions: Some Explicit Polaroids (Jonathan) and Aria da Capo (Assistant Director). Alex has performed at the Chicago Improv Festival as a member of Full Frontal Comedy. He is from Grosse Pointe, Michigan. |

Erin E. Ehlers (Colleen/Governor), a Nota McGreevy Scholar, is a senior majoring in Theatre and Drama. Norvelle Center credits: An American Ma(u)l (Marilyn), The Real Thing (Charlotte), and Nine (Sarraghina). At the Brown County Playhouse, Erin was Prudie Cupp in Pump Boys & Dinettes. Other projects include independent student projects Aria da Capo (Corydon), True West (Mom), and As You like It (Touchstone) and the Black Play Lab readings Bulletproof Hearts (Voice) and Preemptive (Vivian). Matt Herndon (Herbie) is a sophomore majoring in Theatre and Drama. He has appeared in the Norvelle Productions of An American Ma(u)l (Homeless Joe) and Measure for Measure (Sebastian). Matt served as technical director for Bloomington Playwrights Project’s 25th Annual Mini Play Festival. Anna Rose Heyman (Mother/Nurse) is a sophomore majoring in Theatre and Drama and English. She previously appeared as Dorothea in Eleemosynary for University Players. This is her debut role at the Lee Norvelle Theatre and Drama Center. Anna is from Nashville, Tennessee. |

Kerry Ipema (Hope) is a sophomore earning her B.F.A. in Musical Theatre. She previously appeared at the Norvelle Center in The Day Boy and the Night Girl (Ensemble/Moonlight), A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (Panacea), and the 2008 Faculty Dance Recital From Past to Present. Kerry sings with the IU Broadway Cabaret and the Singing Hoosiers Varsity Singers. She is in the Hutton Honors College and received a Faculty Award Scholarship. Henry A. McDaniel III (Matt) is a first-year M.F.A. student in Acting. He received his B.A. (Theatre & Mass Communication) and M.S.E. from Harding University. Dead Man Walking marks his Norvelle Center debut. Previous roles include Malvolio in Twelfth Night (University of Memphis), King of Siam in The King and I (Theatre Memphis), and Freddy in Picasso at the Lapin Agile (Theatre Memphis). Abby Rowold (Lucille) is a first-year M.F.A. student in Acting. She received her B.A. in Theatre from the University of Northern Iowa. This marks her Norvelle Center debut. Past credits include Chicago productions of Top Girls (Joyce/Isabella Bird/Mrs. Kidd), The Crucible (Ann Putnam), Major Barbara (Barbara Undershaft), and Anna Karenina (Dolly). At UNI she appeared in Summer and Smoke (Alma), The Bakkhai (Tiresius), and The Taming of the Shrew (Lucentio), among others. Abby is from Chicago, Illinois. |

He was also in University Player’s 10@10 (Chorus) and played various roles in Bloomington Playwrights Project Sex/Death V. Steven Thomas (Walter/Mitch) is a senior majoring in Theatre and Drama. In the Norvelle Center, he appeared in Metamorphoses (Philemon), Measure for Measure (Pompey), and Twelfth Night (Fabian). This past summer he appeared as Arnold in the Brown County Playhouse production of The Boys Next Door. He played Silvius, in an independent student production of As You Like It and Larry in Mr. Marmalade for Inpulse Productions. Recipient of an NSAL scholarship, Steven is from Deerfield, Illinois. |

Lilia Vassileva (Sister Helen Prejean) is a third-year M.F.A. student in Acting with a B.A. in Theatre from Valparaiso University. Sister Helen Prejean is Lilia’s thesis role. At the Norvelle Center she appeared in The Seagull (Masha), The Real Thing (Annie), Twelfth Night (Olivia), and The Crucible (Elizabeth Proctor). For the Brown County Playhouse she appeared as Mary Featherstone in How the Other Half Loves. Chicago: And Then There Were None (Vera) at Attic Playhouse, Writing Your Own Tragedy (Beatrix) at Pegasus Players, and About Face Youth Theatre in out/SPOKEN (Elsa). He also played Hal in Proof for the Indianapolis Spotlight Players and is a member of the sketch comedy troupe All Sorts of Trouble for the Boy in the Bubble. Eric Young (Hilton) is a first-year M.F.A. student in Acting. This is his Norvelle Center debut. Elsewhere, he has appeared in Hamlet (Hamlet) for Las Cruces Community Theatre, The Seven Descents of Myrtle (Chicken) for Aardvark Theatre, Antony and Cleopatra (Enobarbus) for Shakespeare on the Rocks, Killer Joe (Ansel Smith) for lo-fi Productions, and Dracula (Dracula) for American Southwest Theatre. Dale McFadden (Director) Recent work includes: Off-Broadway – Table 17, Tweaked, 78th St. Theatre. Chicago – High Holidays, Victory Gardens Theatre. Indianapolis – Stuff Happens (Midwest Premiere), Fat Pig, A Number, The Phoenix Theatre. Brown County Playhouse –How the Other Half Loves, Lend Me A Tenor, Compleat Wks. Shakespeare Abridged, Brighton Beach Memoirs. Dale has also worked at many Chicago theatres including The Goodman Studio, The Body Politic (where he served as Artistic Director), Steppenwolf, The Theatre Building, The Raven Theatre, Renaissance Rep, and Chicago Dramatists. His Chicago production of The King’s Clown was a Joseph Jefferson award winner. He also was a director for NPR’s radio drama program Earplay, anda frequent director for the ATHE New Play Development Conference. Dale is Associate Chair of the Department of Theatre and Drama and Head of the Acting and Directing Program.
Jared Rutherford (Scenic Designer) is a third-year M.F.A. student in Scenic Design with a B.A. from SUNY – New Paltz. Norvelle Center designs: The Day Boy and the Night Girl, Measure for Measure, and Big Love. Brown County Playhouse: The Boys Next Door. Monomoy Theatre: My Fair Lady, Anna Christie, and other shows. While at SUNY – New Paltz he received the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival Region Two set design award for Anything Goes. He is from DeRuyter, New York.
Scott M. Anderson (Costume Designer) is a third-year M.F.A. Costume Design student who received his B.A. in Theatre from DeSales University. Designing the costumes for Dead Man Walking is his M.F.A. thesis project. He was previously the Costume Designer for Norvelle Center productions of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, The Real Thing, and Side Man,and for the IU independent productions of Aria de Capo and Three Sisters. At DeSales, Scott designed costumes for Heroic Hercules and The World Goes ‘Round, and was Assistant Costume Designer for Aladdin. Scott’s next costume design project will be Marisol at the Wells-Metz Theatre. His hometown is Warrington, Pennsylvania.
Liz Replogle (Lighting Designer) is a second year M.F.A. Lighting Designer who graduated magna cum laude from George Mason University with a double major in Theater and Folklore/Mythology. Last season she was the Lighting Designer for Metamorphoses at the Norvelle Center. She has also assisted with Olney Theatre's production of "Doubt" and was the Master Electrician for Imagination Stage, a Crew Lead at Atmosphere Lighting, Inc., and a Stage Manager for the Theatre of the 1st Amendment. Liz is from Woodbridge, Virginia.
Gabriel G. Gula (Sound Designer) is a junior majoring in Design and Technology in the Department of Theatre and Drama. Dead Man Walking is his debut work for the Lee Norvelle Theatre and Drama Center. Gabe will also be designing sound for The America Play in the spring. Gabe is from Indianapolis, Indiana.
Mary Weber (Technical Director) is a third year M.F.A. student in Technical Direction who earned a B.A. in Theatre from the University of Iowa. At the Norvelle Center she has been the Technical Director for A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum and Twelfth Night, Master Carpenter for Seussical: the Musical, Metamorphoses, Reel and Prop Master for An American Ma(u)l, Nine, and The Birthday Party. Mary’s hometown is Cedar Falls, Iowa.
Chris Lee (Stage Manager) is a junior studying Theatre and Drama and Political Science. At the Norvelle Center he was assistant stage managed The Day Boy and the Night Girl and Measure for Measure. At BCP, Chris served as stage manager for How the Other Half Loves and assistant stage manager for The Boys Next Door. Chris stage managed Some Explicit Polaroids and directed The Pillowman, My Name is Rachel Corrie and The Who’s Tommy at the Buskirk-Chumley Theatre. Chris is from Indianapolis, Indiana.
Pamela J. Miles (Assistant Scenic Designer) is a senior majoring in Theatre and Drama with a focus on Scenic Design. Previously at the Norvelle Center she has worked as Props Assistant for Metamorpohses, American Maul, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, and The Seagull and has been a Carpenter. Pamela was a Paint Assistant at American Player’s Theatre in summer 2008 and a Paint Intern for Illinois Shakespeare Festival in summer 2007. She is from Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Kevin Love (Assistant Stage Manager) is a sophomore majoring in Stage Management in the Department of Theatre and Drama. He previously was Assistant Stage Manager for An American Ma(u)l. He has also performed with Actors Theatre of Louisville, Music Theatre of Louisville, Derby Dinner Playhouse, Kentucky Opera, and Stage One. Kevin is from New Albany, Indiana.
