Indvidualized Major in Stage Management
Individualized Major Program
A truly individualized degree for the student who is set on management as their career path. Incorporating theatre, music, management, health and labor, along with a liberal arts core, this degree is unique to the student and culminates in an internship at a major arts organization.
In addition to the core curriculum prescribed by the College of Arts and Sciences, IMP Stage Managers complete an additional 36-50 hours of study in stage management, health and safety, history of opera, theatre or dance, Psychology, Communication and Culture, and Management and Labor Studies. This is truly an individualized degree in which each student's curriculum is unique to their needs and interests.
It is possible to double major with an IMP in Stage Management and a BA in Theatre with a concentration other than stage management.
