Active Learning in the Lecture Hall: Doing the Impossible in Large Classes
Community Education Center Classroom, Room FS 112, Fountain Square, downtown Bloomington
This day-long workshop helps instructors who are currently teaching large lectures design or modify their course to include some modest, workable active learning components with feedback from experienced faculty. Participants might work on activities to help students prepare for class, or participate more fully, for example, and consider practical methods of assessing student progress.
