Scientific WorkPlace Licensing Information
Scientific WorkPlace is the most complete solution to creating and working with LaTeX documents. With it, typing a complex book or paper with mathematics is greatly simplified. Entering mathematics is as simple as clicking on a palette of symbols. The LaTeX typesetting system takes over when you are ready for your final, typeset output. It handles cross-referencing, automatic numbering of sections and equations, indexing, and bibliographic data, as well as produces the superb output for which TeX and LaTeX are famous. In addition, Scientific WorkPlace contains the Maple computer algebra program. When you enter a mathematical expression in Scientific WorkPlace, you can have Maple simplify it, or solve an equation symbolically or numerically, with a couple of clicks with the mouse.
License Terms
- The right to use Scientific Workplace is based on a license that is renewed each year.
- UITS will install the software and maintain possession of the installation media.
- You may use the package as long as the annual renewal fee is paid. If you decide not to renew, you will need to remove the program from your computer.
