Excerpts from the Constitution
The Indiana University Singapore Students' Association is a non-profit, non-political and secular association. It is established to represent all Singaporean students, faculty and academic and administrative personnel at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.
The primary aim of the Association is to endeavor to promote vast interaction between Singapore students, staff, academia and American students, staff, academia, and between other student bodies in Indiana University.
The Association shall endeavor to do this by,
- Fostering unity, harmony and cooperation among the Singaporean students and other Singaporeans in Indiana University. Fostering unity, harmony and cooperation between Singaporean students and their American counterparts. To promote interaction between Singaporeans and our Association of South East Asian Nations counterparts. To promote social and cultural interaction between Singaporean members and American students, Academia, Staff and others in Indiana University as well as in the Bloomington Environment.
- To promote the image and academic excellence of Indiana University to other Singaporeans both in the United States of America, and those in the Republic of Singapore, so as to let them explore the breadth offered in Indiana University and the academic excellence that it upholds.
