Bradley A.U. Levinson
This poem emerged from my research on secondary students in a provincial
area of Mexico. It describes the condition of one of the indigenous kids
who was attending a school in 1990, but then later migrated to the U.S. to
work. The Trans-am refers to a special sport model of Pontiac Firebird,
popular with young males especially.
