Photo of Rebecca EberleMy two primary areas of clinical practice include individuals with acquired neurogenic communication disorders resulting from traumatic brain injury, stroke, brain trauma as degenerative neurological processes and clients who require augmentative alternative communication systems for improved communication.

Teaching Responsibilities/Interests

My primary teaching responsibilities are performed in the clinical supervision process with graduate students working in the clinic and community with individuals with commmunication impairments. Additionally, I co-teach the course, Clinical Practice and Procedures, with intensive focus in the Spring semester on Augmentative Alternative Communication (AAC). Each summer, I teach a course titled Medical Speech-Language Pathology, which addresses specific issues related to practicing as a speech pathologist in the medical arenas.
