Research Interests
My
research interests span the disciplines of language disorders, language
acquisition, psycholinguistics and linguistics. The central questions
addressed by my research are how language impaired children's mental
grammars differ from those of normal children, and how these differences
can be circumvented by manipulating the teaching environment.
Teaching Responsibilities/Interests
At the undergraduate level, I teach introductory courses in language
acquisition and disorders to majors and non-majors. At the graduate
level, I teach the application of linguistic theories to clinical cases
and research methods applicable to language research.
