Teaching Responsibilities

My teaching involves graduate and undergraduate courses in mathematics, acoustics, and psychoacoustics.  I teach courses in the Department of Speech and Hearing Sciences and in the College.  My TOPICS course covers the physiological processes that underlie the ability to speechread

Clinical/Research Interests

Broadly characterized, my research interests involve the study of deficits exhibited by hearing-impaired listeners when listening to complex sounds. My research applies models of auditory perception to psychophysical data to further our understanding of the perceptual consequences of cochlear hearing loss.
