Speech and Language Clinic

Clinical Services

The speech-language clinic provides in-depth assessment of speech, language and cognitive-communication abilities for all ages. In addition to traditional assessments, the clinic also offers specialized voice assessment, augmentative/alternative (AAC) assessment and neurogenic communication assessment clinics. Therapy Services

Individual or group therapy is designed to meet individual needs and facilitate improved communication skills. Many conditions are associated with communication disorders including;

Hearing loss
Learning disabilities
Parkinson’s Disease

Language-Based Preschool

The Indiana University Speech-Language Clinic offers a preschool program for children ranging in age from 3 to 5 years old. The program focuses on the development of language skills as a key to learning and social/emotional competence.

The IU Speech-Language and Hearing Clinics are proud to serve the area’s multilingual community. If you speak a language other than English, we can provide culturally- and linguistically-appropriate services in your language.
