Former Treasury Secretary Gives to SPEA
SPEA alumnus and former U.S. Treasury Secretary Paul O'Neill generously gave $100,000 to support the Lynton Keith Caldwell Professorship in International Environmental Studies. O’Neill cites Caldwell as an inspiration and important role model during his time as an MPA student. This gift is just one of many ways that Secretary O’Neill has chosen to support SPEA. Steve Eller Honored for 25 Consecutive Years of Giving
Steve Eller, BSPA’84 is Vice President for Human Resources at the Beacon Health System, president of the SPEA Alumni Association Board of Directors, and was recently honored for having generously given to Indiana University, including SPEA, for 25 consecutive years. Only three years out of college, he gave his first gift to SPEA in 1987. When asked why he has so loyally shared his time and resources, Eller said, “I was the first in my family to attend college, and upon graduation from SPEA I was fortunate to secure a position in human resources and it launched my professional career.
