About Us

The Learnability Project was initiated in 1985. We provide screening, diagnostic and treatment services to children with functional phonological delays. These services are at no cost to families. All clinical sessions are conducted or supervised by speech-language pathologists who are certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Currently, we have two certified speech-language pathologists and one clinical fellow on our professional staff. To date, we have served over 500 monolingual English-speaking preschoolers from Monroe and neighboring Indiana counties. The Learnability Project also serves as a professional training site for students who are interested in becoming speech-language pathologists. Currently, we have six students in training on our research team.
