Indiana University is committed to building an exciting, diverse faculty, one that more closely resembles the demographics of the nation as a whole. The Office of Strategic Hiring and Support is IU's focused initiative toward that goal—working to recruit, retain, and promote faculty of color as well as senior women.
Since its establishment, Strategic Hiring and Support has more than doubled the number of minority faculty members at IU. Its challenge and commitment are to continue that progress, making even more marked and permanent changes in faculty diversity.
