Funding
Scholarships & Fellowships for Students
Indiana University provides many opportunities for students to receive funding for their studies. The high quality of IU’s instructional program in this area is also evidenced by our students’ record of success in external research grant competitions. To maximize the chance of receiving support, we encourage students to apply for all sources of financial aid for which they are eligible, and to investigate other possible sources that may be specific to the student’s individual case (such as former employers or local philanthropic organizations).
We also invite you to print the REEI Funding Notice for information about current funding opportunities. This document is updated annually in December for the following summer and academic year.
Other Funding Opportunities for all Students
- Work Study and Work on Campus
- Student Loans (FAFSA): For Indiana University students the priority submission date to apply for student loans is March 1. We encourage you to explore the various options for need-based financial aid through the Office of Student Financial Aid (OSFA).
