Dr. Mihaela Czobor-Lupp
Mihaela Czobor-Lupp is currently pursuing a Ph.D. from the Department of Government at Georgetown University. Prior to this she worked as a lecturer in Political Science at the University of Bucharest. She holds a Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Bucharest and an M.A. in Philosophy and Social Theory from the University of Warwick. Her recent publications include: “Sketch for an Aesthetics of Identity: A Reinterpretation of Mikhail Bakhtin in the Context of Romanian Culture,” published in Balkanistica; “The Possibility of Criticism in Romanian Political Culture, between ‘Culture’ and ‘Politics,’” published in Perspectives on European Politics and Society. She also co-edited Moral, Legal, and Political Values in Romanian Culture, a volume published by The Council for Research in Values and Philosophy, Washington, DC.
