As the 2011-2012 President of the Epsilon Iota Chapter (Indiana University) of Phi Beta
Sigma Fraternity, Inc., I would like to welcome you to our website. This
website is designed to educate people on the brothers at Epsilon Iota chapter
and our activities on Indiana University's campus and the Bloomington
community. The goal of this chapter is to further the cause of our
national fraternity, which principles are BROTHERHOOD, SCHOLARSHIP, &
SERVICE.
Epsilon Iota was chartered on the campus of Indiana University on January 3, 1972 (chapter history). The brothers of Epsilon Iota take great pride in
our commitment to support and strengthen our national partnerships with the
American Cancer Society and the March of Dimes Foundation. The organizations commitment to Project
SWWAC (Sigma’s Waging War Against Cancer), the SATAPP (Sigma Against
Teenage Pregnancy Plus), the Sigma Beta Club for male youth, and additional programs make these goals a reality. In addition, Phi Beta Sigma’s newest
partners, the Thurgood Marshall Scholarship Fund and the National Marrow
Donors Program, are examples of Sigma's continued renewed efforts geared towards
benefiting the community at large. Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. is also proud of our relationship with our constitutional bond with our sisters, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Here at Indiana University we exemplify this relationship with the Delta Epsilon Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
We challenge ourselves as we continue to
embrace the Fraternity’s motto, “Culture for Service and Service for
Humanity.” The brothers of Epsilon Iota hope that this website will
provide an outlook to who we are.
For information, questions, or concerns please feel free to contact the chapter at pbsei@indiana.edu
