IUB: Responsible Conduct of Research Series: Authorship

The Office of Research Ethics, Education and Policy (REEP), The University Graduate School, and The Poynter Center will be conducting an informal panel-style workshop this semester on the Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR). RCR constitutes the integration of research ethics, best practices, and adherence to professional and regulatory standards.

Authorship is generally limited to individuals who make significant contributions to the work that is reported. This includes anyone who was intimately involved in the conception and design of the research; assumed responsibility for data collection and interpretation; participated in drafting the publication; and approved the final version of the publication.
