The Kuali Coeus Proposal Development/Routing and Grants.gov session is designed for IU department administrators, fiscal officers, and faculty. The goal of this session is to establish a working knowledge of how to create, modify, route, and submit a proposal development budget. Participants can expect to learn about the Kuali Coeus system tabs required to create and save a budget; set fringe benefit and indirect cost rates; and to associate the budget with a previously created proposal development document. For those who will be submitting proposals via the Grants.gov System-to-System interface a 50 minute session on Grants.gov will be provided at the end of the two hour Proposal Development Budget session. During the Grants.gov session participants will learn how to identify a funding opportunity; select and upload forms associated with the funding opportunity; and submit the proposal and budget into routing.
