Description: The Kuali Coeus Getting Started & Proposal Development class is designed for IU department administrators, fiscal officers, and faculty. The goal of this class is to establish a working knowledge of how to navigate in the Kuali Coeus system and how to create, maintain, route, and submit a proposal development document. Participants can expect to learn about the Kuali Coeus system tabs required to create and save a proposal, identify the proposal funding source, set the project dates, and add key personnel to the project. Additionally, participants will learn how to upload proposal abstracts and attachments, complete required IU and specific agency questions, and establish access permissions for the proposal. Participants will see how the budget begins to be built and how to take various actions on the proposal (i.e., save the proposal, route the proposal, copy the proposal, etc.).
