Clinical Research Compliance Office

About CRCO

Background:

The Clinical Research Compliance Office (CRCO) started in July 2010 in an effort to better serve Indiana University’s commitment to adhering to the highest standards of ethics, integrity, and responsibility. The Clinical Research Compliance Officer, who reports to the Assistant Vice President for Research Compliance, is responsible for directing and monitoring programs to assure Indiana University is compliant with federal, state, and local laws and regulations as well as University policies.

Our commitment is demonstrated by our activities including appropriate oversight and monitoring, development and assessment of research-related standard operating procedures, clinical research training and education, conducting investigations related to allegations of research misconduct, and coordinating resolutions to complaints or concerns received via an anonymous hotline.
