Whenever a compliance issue has been identified, The Office of Research Administration (ORA) shall notify the appropriate parties and seek guidance as needed from the General Counsel.

The goal of the Research Billing Compliance Plan is to clarify the expectations of the IU research community in order to achieve accurate research compliance practices. Compliance with the standards established by federal, state and university regulations and policy is required by law. The implementation of the Research Billing Compliance Plan is designed to assist in achieving those standards.
