Peter Kispert recently served as the editor-in-chief of The Indiana Review and a regular blogger for Ploughshares, and he will graduate this summer from the Columbia University Publishing Course. His writing has appeared or is forthcoming in OUT Magazine, Salon.com, Slice Magazine, Tin House online, The Journal, The Carolina Quarterly, South Dakota Review, Colorado Review, Columbia: a Journal of Literature and Art, The Baltimore Review, McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, The New York Daily News, and has been recommended by The New Yorker, The Paris Review, The Millions, The Rumpus, Flavorwire, NPR, and Urban Outfitters. Peter has served as an editorial assistant with Electric Literature, written content for Narrative Magazine, and twice interned with the brilliant Erin Harris of Folio Literary Management. He is a graduate of Indiana University’s MFA program, where he was an Ernest Hemingway Fellow and received the Guy Lemmon Award for Public Writing, and designed and taught intermediate fiction writing workshops to undergraduates. He has also taught fiction writing through Johns Hopkins University’s Center for Talented Youth.
