Peter Kispert is the editor-in-training at The Indiana Review and a regular blogger for Ploughshares. His writing has appeared or is forthcoming in The Ninth Letter, Slice Magazine, Tin House online, The Journal, South Dakota Review, Colorado Review, Columbia: a Journal of Literature and Art, The Baltimore Review, McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, The New York Daily News, and has been recommended by The New Yorker, The Paris Review, The Millions, The Rumpus, Flavorwire, NPR, and Urban Outfitters. Peter is an editorial assistant with Electric Literature; he has written content for Narrative Magazine, served as assistant fiction editor with The Adirondack Review, and interned with literary agent Erin Harris. He has received several awards for his fiction, including the Lt. Arthur A. Charait Award for best short story. Peter served as Editor-in-Chief of Aegis and Sandpaper, the campus literary publications, Director of the Student Press Organization, and is an Ernest Hemingway fellow in Indiana University’s MFA program, where he is an associate instructor of creative writing. He has also taught fiction writing through Johns Hopkins University’s Center for Talented Youth.
