Medical Physics
at Indiana University, Bloomington

A CAMPEP-accredited program

Medical Physics is the application of the concepts and methods of physics to the diagnosis and treatment of human disease.

The Master of Science curriculum in Medical Physics at IU Bloomington provides a rigorous education in physics, mathematics, chemistry and biomedical sciences in addition to practical courses in the four primary areas of the medical physics practice: radiation therapy physics, diagnostic imaging physics, nuclear medicine and radiation protection physics. Our Medical Physics MS curriculum prepares students for employment, apprenticeships/internships, CAMPEP residencies, and advanced degrees.

The Certificate in Medical Physics at IU Bloomington provides a pathway for Ph.D.s in Physics to apply for admission into CAMPEP-accredited Residency Programs in Medical Physics.
