Academics, community, diversity, sustainable living, and student empowerment: At the Collins Living-Learning Center, we emphasize these five principles, and work with residents to help incorporate them into their college experience.
Collins is a partnership between Residential Programs and Services and the College of Arts and Sciences at Indiana University. We supplement regular University programming with our own:
- accredited courses
- arts events
- social service activities, and
- enrichment programs.
Collins wouldn’t be Collins without intellectual exploration, respect for our environment, and student-run activities that range from foreign language conversation groups to dance workshops to working with underprivileged children.
Residents can shape their own ventures and positively influence the community. They have the opportunity to learn from a diverse group of peers; they help choose the seminars taught here, and design and lead educational and artistic programs.
We welcome anyone who wants to live in an engaged, close-knit community.
