International study on sexuality in heterosexual couples

DESCRIPTION:

This project surveys heterosexual couples in 5 countries – Brazil, Japan, Germany, Spain and the U.S. In each country, 200 couples (male partner is between 40 and 70 years old) are completing questionnaires on sexual behavior, sexual health, relationship satisfaction and how sexuality fits into their lives. This study will help to clarify how couples from different cultures value sexuality, as well as help to illuminate different patterns of sexuality, sexual desire and problems. The study will also examine differences between partners’ behaviors and perceptions.
