Video Collection

The majority of the collection is cataloged in The Kinsey Institute Library's catalog. A general search for sex education can be conducted as a keyword search such as "sex education and video$." By using the truncation symbol ($) the catalog will display records containing the words videocassette and videorecording. Search keyword and "DVD" for digital video disc format.

Video Collection Access

In addition to The Kinsey Institute's general collections use policy, please note the following additional policies that apply to the video collection.

The Kinsey Institute video collection is available for qualified researchers for on-site viewing only. An appointment is required for viewing. In most cases, titles are available for viewing. For those which require a viewing copy be made, patrons may pay for a video to video transfer when copyright restrctions do not apply. The resulting access video copy can be viewed on site and remains the property of The Kinsey Institute.
