Mission

The mission of The Kinsey Institute is to advance sexual health and knowledge worldwide.
The Kinsey Institute accomplishes its mission by promoting interdisciplinary research and scholarship in the fields of human sex, gender, and reproduction.
The work of the institute includes:

  • Conducting high-impact research;
  • Collecting, preserving and providing access to research archives and collections;
  • Disseminating knowledge about sex and sexual health to the public;
  • Training a new generation of researchers in the fields of sex, gender and reproduction.

Individuals interested in supporting the Institute and its programs can contribute through gifts, material donations, bequests, or endowments. Please contact kinsey@indiana.edu.
