Indiana University offers Overseas Study opportunities for Slavic Languages and Literatures students, including the CIEE Semester at St. Petersburg State University and CIEE Summer at St. Petersburg State University.
IU's newest student residence hall, the Global Village Living-Learning Center, opened in August, 2004. The Village, a joint project of the College of Arts and Sciences and Residential Programs and Services, will be home to about 150 undergraduates with international academic interests.
