Specialties/Research Interests: Russian poetry; literary and critical theory; the relationship of literature and philosophy; the use of literary texts in the teaching of secondary languages.
Current project(s): Completing monograph on Brodsky; beginning monograph on Derzhavin and Kant.

- Graduate courses on Russian literature of the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries.
