SPEA Earth Week Open Mic Night - Wednesday, April 16th, 7:00PM An open mic night and poetry forum will be held in the SPEA Atrium (1315 E. 10th Street). Service Day at WonderLab - Thursday, April 17th, 1:30 – 4:00PM Take part in an outdoor volunteering opportunity at the WonderLab Museum from 1:30 – 4:00pm in the WonderGarden. Meet at WonderLab (308 W. 4th Street, downtown) at 1:30 to help weed, trim, and garden. WonderLab will supply gloves, tools, snacks, and expertise. Please contact Alison Behling for more information. Green Cinema Movie Series presents "Planet Earth" - Thursday, April 17th, 8:00PM Join EMA at the Grad Pad (Room M088, Indiana Memorial Union) for an engaging, environmental film with spectacular scenery, Planet Earth! Adopt-a-Trail and Adopt-a-Road - Friday, April 18th, 3:30PM Help EMA clean up their assigned trail at Griffey Lake Nature Preserve and a stretch of High Street (between 3rd Street and Moore’s Pike). SustainIU - Saturday, April 19th,12:00 – 6:00PM SustainIU is comprised of two events: A sustainability panel, featuring administrators, faculty, staff, local government officials, and other community members; and the Sustainability Expo (SPROUTS garden), a diverse gathering of organizations that will focus on eco-education and interactive displays.
