I am presently the executive director of the WonderLab Museum of Science, Health and Technology. This museum features over 80 hands-on exhibits and activities, as well as changing programs. Exhibit areas include the following: Discovery Garden (preschool exploration area with 24 age-appropriate science experiences such as a water table, tree houses, light, air pressure, magnetism, and more); How Things Work (exhibits on air pressure, electricity, magnetism, gravity, cosmic rays, sound, light, technology); Hall of Natural Science (exhibits on live animals and geology); How Your Body Works (exhibits on blood pressure, heart rate/rhythm, vertical leap, nutrition, height); Bubble-Airium (exhibits on bubbles). In addition there is a 24-foot tall climber in the shape of a grapevine that allows people to enter a maze through which they climb to the ceiling of the museum. An outdoor nature habitat permits the exploration of nature and environmental topics. The museum is located at 308 W. 4th St, Bloomington, IN; it is about 1 block west of the courthouse square. Hours are Tuesday - Saturday, 9:30 am - 5 pm and Sunday, 1 pm - 5 pm.
