Book Reprint
In celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Indiana Murals, Indiana University Press—with support from the Indiana University Foundation—has reprinted the book, Thomas Hart Benton and the Indiana Murals, first published in 2000 and long since out of print. Copies can be purchased at the Angles Café & Gift Shop in the Indiana University Art Museum or online at www.iupress.indiana.edu.
Teachers’ Web Module
The IU Art Museum’s education department has prepared a special teaching module for use with Thomas Hart Benton’s Indiana Murals, see www.iub.edu/~iuam/online_modules/benton/. Although primarily designed for 4th grade teachers of Indiana history, this site provides a useful resource for anyone interested in the murals with images of all of the mural panels and short synopses of the subject matter.
