Notes: Franz Altschuler was a close personal and professional friend of Sinsabaugh's from his days in the graphic design industry. Although inscribed 1965, this work appears to have been shot in June 1966. It was originally part of the "Chicago Landscape Group" (Chi. La. #281A & #281B), but was transferred to start the "Portrait Group" as #2A & #2B (B is a duplicate shot of A). The ledger entry for Chi. La. #281B states: 6/66/ RR Bridge Raised/ w/ Cold Storage Warehouse/ Right-Franz Altschuler on/ Bridge Tenders Porch./ Shot from W Kinzie ST/ at North Branch Chi River/ looking SW/ PM. Altschuler has stated that this was Sinsabaugh's favorite location to shoot in Chicago. This bridge and the "Old Forester" sign can be seen again in Chi. La. #151.
