IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
1. EVERY PLAYER ON EVERY TEAM NEEDS TO SIGN A WAIVER PRIOR TO PLAYING THEIR FIRST MATCH!  Teams check-in, including distribution of wavier forms, will begin at 7:30 AM.  Check-in is completed when you turn in ALL your teams wavier forms.  Before your team representative proceeds to the meeting (below), make sure somebody from your team is taking care of getting the wavier forms completed.
2. All pools will start play at 9:00 AM Saturday morning.  Just to make sure every team has arrived, there will be a short MANDATORY team representative meeting at 8:30 AM near the tournament desk.  For those teams that don't play until 10:00 AM, please be on time so that the representatives for teams playing at 9:00 AM get to warm-up.  i.e. Don't be late.
3. No food or drink is allowed in the playing area. Only water can be taken onto the courts. If we want to host this tournament in the future, we need to adhere to the building policies. Penalties will be assessed to offending teams.
4. It would be appreciated if teams could bring their own whistles for down officiating. We will have some available if you forget.
5. All MIVA rules apply with regard to player eligibility. The MIVA rules adopted the NIRSA (NCCS) guidelines by reference.  MIVA Rule 1.2.2  ". . .  However, if a player or club is not eligible to participate in the NIRSA Championship Tournament, the player or club shall not be eligible to participate . . ."  MIVA Rule 2.6  :To be eligible to participate . . .  Rosters shall only consist of players who are eligible under NIRSA guidelines for the current season . . ."
