Navruz Student Association Meeting

Fri, Feb 8, 6:30 pm
Ballantine Hall 144
It's almost spring, and you know what that means! Time for Navruz (Norooz, Nevruz, etc.), the Central Asian/Persian/Kurdish new year festival is upon us once again. Continuing an IU tradition, Navruz Student Association will be holding a concert and dinner to celebrate, and we need performers! This is a great opportunity to showcase Central Asian languages and cultures. Dance, song, music, poetry, and other ideas are welcome!

To submit a proposal for a performance, please send a brief description of your idea (e.g., "Recite a Hafez poem in Persian"; "Sing an Uyghur song") to woodsmj@indiana.edu or navsta@indiana.edu.
