Faculty Travel Grants
Inner Asian and Uralic National Resource Center is offering funds to support faculty domestic and international travel. In return we ask applicants to commit to a presentation following the trip. The lecture can be part of CEUS Colloquium Series, a brown bag presentation or an interactive video presentation to an audience at another university. Faculty members can use the topic from their conference paper or talk about their current and future research. IAUNRC will make room reservations and publicize the talk.
The travel application can be found at the bottom of this page.
International Travel Support
IAUNRC faculty members are eligible to apply for grants for up to $600 for travel outside the United States to attend conferences or workshops or to conduct research. Please be aware that the Department of Education requires that we submit a Travel Approval Request to their office at least one month before the departure and that segments of the trip be flown on a US carrier flight number whenever possible.
Applications will be accepted at any time, but at least 6 weeks prior to intended date of travel.
Domestic Travel Support
Faculty members may apply to receive up to $350 for travel to conferences and workshops in the US. The application procedure is the same as for international travel grants.
All travel has to becompleted before mid August 2010. If you have any questions regarding these funds, please contact Kasia Johnston, Assistant Director (855-7319 or email@example.com)
