Upon receiving the list of enrollment, e-mails will be sent directly to students to ask them to consider seeing a health care provider for consultation on vaccination at their own need and cost. Please also refer to the web sites of the Travel Clinic of IU Health Center, the U.S. Department of State, and health information for travelers from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

All participants must attend the mandatory meeting which will be held in the end of spring semester. During the meeting, there will be an orientation session related to “A Safe Trip Abroad.” The following issues will be discussed, for example, what to take, what to leave behind, precautions to take while traveling, etc. Overseas Citizens Services, U.S. Embassies and Consulates' telephone numbers will be given to students for emergency use. Health Information for Travelers to Korea, China, Hong Kong, and Thailand will also be discussed during the orientation session.
