Graduate/Professional School Access award
HHSP is proud to announce the Graduate/Professional School Access Award, which can help students meet the ever-increasing costs of preparing for and applying to graduate school. This award offers financial support ranging from $250 - $1,000 to pay for things like standardized test preparation, standardized test registration fees, and graduate school application fees.
The deadline to apply has been extended to Friday, December 4, 2009 and the EFC has been waived this semester.
Please note you will need to email your completed application to to your respective program office: Hudson & Holland Scholars Program — firstname.lastname@example.org; Office of Mentoring Services and Leadership Development — OMSLD@indiana.edu. Please read the instructions below carefully before completing the application which can be dowloaded below.
Directions for completing application
You can complete the application electronically by saving a copy of it to your hard drive and opening it in Adobe Acrobat Pro 9.0. Once you have completed the application using Acrobat Pro 9.0, please re-save the document to your hard drive and send it as an email attachment to OMSLD@indiana.edu.
Please note, you cannot complete the application electronically using Adobe Reader. Although Adobe Reader will allow you to fill out the fields within the document, it will not allow you to save those changes to your hard drive. Adobe Acrobat Pro 9.0 is free to Indiana University students. If you do not have it on your computer, please follow the instructions below:
- Go to http://iuware.iu.edu/.
- Click on the “Adobe” link on the top left of the screen.
- Click on the first selection “Acrobat Pro 9.0”
- Read the System Requirements to make sure your computer can support Acrobat Pro 9.0 and then click the Login button.
- Click “Download” and follow the instructions for installing Acrobat Pro 9.0.
If you computer cannot support Acrobat Pro 9.0, most computer labs on campus have Acrobat 9.0 installed on their machines. An alternative is to use Adobe Reader to complete the application and then print out a hard copy of the application to turn in to Eigenmann Hall, Room 619. But please remember, if you use Adobe Reader, any information you type into the fields will be lost once the document is saved, so the best option is to use Adobe Acrobat Pro 9.0.
