Attention Sophomores! Career Development Fellowship Opportunity - Applications due February 9th
There's an amazing opportunity for sophomores!. It's called Management Leadership for Tomorrow. It's an 18 month career development fellowship for underrepresented students in any major. It includes four free trips to skill development seminars all over the US (travel and accommodation included), individualized and personal career development coaching, an alumni base of over 4000 professionals, and exposure to over 60 prestigious companies. First round of applications are due February 9th and the final round is due March 16th. More information regarding the application and MLT can be found here:

HHART Arts Showcase & Gala - Friday, February 20, 2015, 7pm - 10pm
Do you have drawings, photographs, ceramics, jewelry, videos, films, poems, short stories, or other artwork sitting at home that you are proud of? Well, we want you to showcase your talents, artistic skills, and creative passions! Before you leave home to return to campus, consider bringing your artwork to campus to submit to the HHART Arts Showcase & Gala coming up on February 20th.
Sharepoint is still experiencing technical difficulties but we are working to get the software fixed so you can log your LEAD requirements. In the meantime, please keep track of what you have completed but do not worry about confirming with HHSP that you have completed any particular requirements for your class year. When the system is fixed, we will let everyone know and you have ample opportunity to go back and enter the information.
Google's Non-Technical Internship: Apply TODAY!
Google offers the Building Opportunities for Leadership and Development (BOLD) Internship for students interested in business. An 11 week paid internship opportunity for rising juniors, which includes professional development workshops and mentorship activities. The BOLD Program strives to expose non-technical university students from across the country to career opportunities in technology. Interns are placed in a variety of functions, including Advertising Sales, Marketing, People Operations, and Finance, among others.
Summer 2015 Overseas Study to Jamaica, Hudson & Holland Scholars encouraged to apply
This interdisciplinary course is a partnership between IU’s Center for Latin American & Caribbean Studies (CLACS), the Jamaica Conservation and Development Trust (JCDT), and the Bowden Ben Farmers’ Association (BPFA) in rural eastern Jamaica. Summer 2015 will mark the 8th offering of the course/program. In Jamaica, students will participate in experiential-learning initiatives associated with cultural ecology, sustainable agriculture, eco-heritage tourism, park management, and permaculture design.
