For outstanding contributions to the field and discipline of Recreation, Tourism and Sport (RTS) Geography, the Association of American Geographers has awarded Dan Knudsen the Roy Wolfe Award.
He also received the Ryan Award for exceptional contributions to international programs and studies.

Rebecca and Rinku both contribute to the department’s strengths in human-environment interactions.
