Gender Fair Language: A printable handout offered by the Writing Center at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute on how to replace sexist language with language that is gender fair and neutral.

Women's Studies Section of the Association of College and Research Libraries of the American Library Association Women and Gender Studies Web Sites (ACRL WSSLINKS): An invaluable resource with wide-ranging annotated links on various topics in women's and gender studies, subdivided by major categories of interest.

Women's Studies Database University of Maryland, College Park: Searchable site with an extensive collection of on-line materials and current information on upcoming conferences, calls for papers, and employment opportunities.

Women's Studies / Women's Issues Resource Site: More than 700 annotated links as well as subject listings such as the Women- and Gender-Related E-mail Lists which provides descriptions of over 600 e-mail lists, of particular note is the WMST-L: Academic Women's Studies List an international e-mail forum for the discussion of Women's Studies research, teaching, and program administration.

ViVa: A Bibliography of Women's History in Historical and Women's Studies Journals (International Institute of Social History, Netherlands): Viva is searchable and contains more than 8,000 bibliographic records appearing in historical and women's studies journals 1975 to 2004
