In September 2007 we welcomed Kristin Brand to the Department of Gender Studies. Kristin replaced Cindy Stone as the Department Administrator. Brand’s previous work include Administrative Assistant to the Chair of Political Science and most recently as the Training Coordinator for Financial Management Services, a position she held for 2 ½ years, working with Support/Professional Staff across the various IU Campuses.
Brand’s responsibilities for the Department of Gender Studies include account management/reconciliation, department management and course scheduling.

Arnell Hammond is an academic advisor for the Departments of Gender, Latino, and African American and African Diaspora Studies. Her office is located in Memorial Hall East, Room M021. Walk-in office hours are: Monday and Thursday, 9am-noon and Tuesday and Wednesday, 1-4pm.
