Dual MA

Dual Master of Arts and Master of Library Science Degrees (Dual M.A./M.L.S.):

A total of 51 credit hours (rather than 60 credit hours).
At least 30 graduate credit hours in library science.
At least 21 credit hours in the department.

Dual Master of Arts and Master of Information Science Degrees (Dual M.A./M.I.S.):

A total of 51 credit hours (rather than 60 credit hours).
At least 30 graduate credit hours in information science.
At least 21 credit hours in the department.

Dual Master of Arts Degree in Journalism and Folklore/Ethnomusicology:

A total of 48 credit hours (rather than 60 credit hours).
At least 24 credit hours in journalism.
At least 24 credit hours in the department.

These dual MA degrees require the completion of the following courses:

Dual Master of Arts Degree in Arts Administration and Folklore/Ethnomusicology:

Study for these two degrees can be combined for a total of 60 credit hours rather than the 75 credit hours required for the two degrees taken separately. Students take at least 36 graduate credit hours in arts administration, and at least 24 credit hours in folklore and ethnomusicology.
