Compiled packages of RTcmix for Mac OS X

• This package is meant for use in the IU Music Library. It can also be installed on any Intel Mac running OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard). (It will not run on earlier OS versions.) It installs into /Users/Shared/rtcmix/. It installs a very simple “.profile” after moving aside any existing profile. If you care about your existing profile, it’s safer to back it up before installing this package.

  This package is up-to-date with the RTcmix source code repository at ftp://presto.music.virginia.edu/pub/rtcmix as of 8/27/11.

• This is an older package for PPC processors; it installs into /Applications/rtcmix/.

  A Bash profile for use with the package above. Copy into your home directory, and rename to “.profile” (without the ".txt" suffix).
