Diversity conference stresses leadership

IU alum and ESPN sports anchor Sage Steele was one of the keynote speakers at the inaugural IU Diversity Leadership Conference.  The free conference held Nov. 8, 2013, was a student leadership event to promote academic excellence, coalition building, diversity education, leadership development, and personal empowerment.  Also speaking at the conference was Rafael Sanchez, Indianapolis WRTV 6 consumer investigative reporter.
